 Joe Herman
Joe Herman has been a faithful member of this Center for over forty years. He served as a Science of Mind practitioner for several years and has served on the board as president and also in other capacities. He embraces this teaching through his thoughts and actions.
Joe is a retired school teacher who taught sixth grade for thirty-five years in the North Colonie School District. He was active in the NYSED teachers union; serving as delegate to the state and national organizations. He also served as an officer in the NYS teachers union. He is an active member of the Albany Men's Garden club serving in various official capacities. He currently is the Northeast Director of Gardener's of America. Better known as Mac, is a retired electrical engineer, having graduated from Rensselaer in 1964. He worked for many years as a computer designer and now writes and talks on spiritual themes. He has had an active interest in the mystical since the early 1960's.
Joe offers Reiki classes and presents workshops on meditation, spirituality and holistic natural wellness. As the owner of Holistic Source, he operates an on-line New Age web store. He is available to officiate at marriage ceremonies. For more information contact: joe@holisticsource.com
Dr. Wilma Waithe is an enthusiastic student of Truth with over 15 years experience leading and facilitating discussions in basic truth principles. Still, to hear Wilma tell it, her recent reconnection with the Center for Spiritual Living and Science of Mind teachings, is about self-renewal: a lifetime of opportunity to continue the fascinating exploration of what life and the inner vitalizing energy is really all about.
Wilma received her undergraduate degree in Home Economics and Dietetics from Brooklyn College and her Masters in Food and Nutrition from New York University. She earned her doctorate in Education at the State University of New York at Albany where she developed a deep interest in research on transformative learning and relational dynamics. She is a member of several professional organizations and advisory boards. Wilma enjoys reading (she is particularly fond of books by ‘New Thought’ authors), traveling, and photography.

Out of the depths of unbroken Infinity arose the Question, Who am I? And to that Question there is only one Answer - I am God!
God is Infinite; and His shadow, too, is infinite. Reality is Infinite in its Oneness; Illusion is infinite in its manyness. The one Question arising from the Oneness of the Infinite wanders through an infinite maze of answers which are distorted echoes of Itself resounding from the hollow forms of infinite nothingness.
Chris Johnson is a doctoral candidate at the University of Metaphysics in Sedona, AZ. He is scheduled to be an ordained minister in Metaphysical Science this fall and will receive his doctorate in the Spring of 2012. His ministry will be built on self-empowerment and personal transformation. He also plans to launch his own information marketing company at the beginning of 2012.
He is presently the secretary/treasurer of the Capital Toastmasters group (6518) in Albany, NY. He is working to publish two books on entrepreneurship and grassroots economic development. Chris holds a BA Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Sage College of Albany, NY. He graduated in 2004.
A healthy skepticism prevented investigating the belief in the spiritual or paranormal. In the mid seventies, reading and a degree of open-mindedness led to a desire to explore the potential of consciousness. The result was the founding of an organization called The Foundation for Spiritual Evolution, which was committed to helping others discover the amazing potential that exists in all of us. He has just founded a new group called The Kingdom Of The Spirit. The organization is dedicated to the service and education of all who desire spiritual growth.
